I just arrived from the party to my hotel in Rome! I'll upload some pics when I get home on friday. But at the moment, I wanted to quote some of you and say: be more humble in the future, think you can be wrong!! And try to be less biased! This is the big IN YOUR FACE THREAD! Please, look for your nickname, there's a roast for all of you! Don't try to do the same with me, I'm humble an don't make bold predictions as most of you.

Karakai:

Barca have A chance, but they definately arent the strongest out of the two. I hate being a tite a$$ to the messi fans, but as good as messi is in la liga he cant pull it off against a united defence. ON the contrary, barcas defence cant stop ronaldo. Theyll foul him and theyll pay for it

____________________

Wow, seems ManU weren't that good! They had a chance though! By the way, seems that a midfielder and a pre-retired left back were enough to stop your idol C. Ronaldo? Boom, roasted!

moylagshergar:

I firmly believe that if United play to the best of their abilities no team in the world can live with them, including Barcelona. United are capable of obliterating Barcelona just like Milan did in the 1994 final.

_____________________

Almost exactly as in Athens 94! Although this time the role of Milan was played by Barsa... Only if Van der Saar had missed Henry's or Puyol's one on one..... Boom roasted!

farq_1024:

ure absolutely rite. they only know how to attack and its easy to stop them if u keep men behind the ball. utd will kill them on the break in rome

__________________

Did United counterattack during all match? Cause I didn't see it.... maybe I was to much concetrated celebrating the title! Boom roasted!

Gilvorak / Messi&Barsa hater nbr 1:

Leo Messi, supposedly the "best player in the world" continuously flopped for 180 minutes. Expect Man Utd to lift another trophy come the 27th whether you like it or not.

_____________________________

Genius header from Messi between tw 1,90cm Center Backs and over an almost 2m GK! ManU won? What? Really?! Arrghh! Boom, roasted!

wenger_ball:

I totoally agree with you.... If Barcelona played in the premier league they would struggle to finish in the top 6.

____________________

This one is so hilarious... I can't even comment it, tears are running down my face while laughing! Boom, roasted!

coulomb_barrier:

1. Ferguson's experience

This really is a great advantage to Man Utd. Ferguson has 20+ years of experience in management. What that means is he will know how to prepare his team mentally and physically for the final. He has been in this position two times before in Europe without counting the countless other non-Champions League/European Cup final's he has participated in.

Guardiola of course is in his maiden season as head coach at Barcelona. Will he know how to rest his players before a European final? Will he train them too lightly or not enough? How does he try and prepare his team mentally before the final? These are all things Ferguson will be expert at. There is a clear advantage here.

________________

This is one of my favourites! Guardiola run over Ferggie tonight. He didn' run, he just DANCED over ferggie. Toure, Sylvinho and Puyol, his picks for the weakened defence, were great. The slightly more conservative style of play of Barsa during the whole match made ManU completely useless in attack. Were was the so many times said "ManU plan B". They didn't have one, and Guardiola's tactics and motivations surpassed old fergie's

Boom, roasted!

Coulomb_barrier:

3. Ronaldo will have more impact than Messi in the final

All personal opinions. But I've said it before and I will say it again: Stop the ball on the floor with Messi and you kill his game. Stop the ball on the floor game with Ronaldo and he can still hurt you from set-pieces and free-kicks. Ronaldo is also a threat from range as his long-shots are dangerous. It cannot be overstated enough how dangerous Ronaldo is in the air.

_______________

Ronald is dangerous in the air while messi is not!!!! Guess who scored a tremendous header tonight! HAHAHAHA. Boom, ReRoasted!

gravidbest / messi&Barsa hater nbr 2:

Add to all those reasons that Messi's form seems to have shrivelled and Ronaldo has been blossoming in these late stages and has performed in almost every big game with Messi the opposite. I don't know why but I just feel that this match is Manure all the way.

_____________________

Awesome match for Ronaldo! xD boom, roasted!

Fadi299:

i have a feeling messi will flop again, if man utd succeed in killing his pace off he'll be shut down for good!!, c.ronaldo on the other hand has been crucial for united this term in CL!, even if he doesn't play well he'd still be dangerous form set-pieces with his superiority in the air!!..........

_____________

Same here! Guess who scored a header? Ronaldo? Nooooo!! The dwarf Messiah! Boom, roasted!!! xDDDD

AND TO END: THE MAN OF THE MATCH, WAS BARSA'S NUMBER 12!!!!! BARSA FANSWOWNED THE NIGHT FROM 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE MATCH, TILL THE END!!!!! IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO HEAR ANY MANU CHANT DURING THE WHOLE GAME!!!! BARSAAAAA!!!! BARSAAAAA!!!!

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! free_cat, I love you, you spent all that time going through all those millions of posts, and found people to BURN! I didn't get burned :smileyhappy:, because I never once said MANU could win. Messi is great, Xavi is a legend, and Ronaldo can suck my balls!      Next year, maybe the TWO BEST TEAMS will play, Liverpool vs Barca in CL final 2010

Well guys,I finally decided to post after the humiliating defeat of last night. I am hanging, myself and my mates drowned our sorrows last night. United didn't show up, Barcelona were excellent and clearly deserved their win.

free_cats man, nice thread. :smileyhappy: I laughed when I seen my name and what I said. Only for van der sar, yes it could have been a milan94 but for Barca.

________________________________________________________________________

and just for the record, here is what I said in the post in question:

Look guys, it all depends on who shows up on the night.

I firmly believe that if United play to the best of their abilities no team in the world can live with them, including Barcelona. United are capable of obliterating Barcelona just like Milan did in the 1994 final.

On-the-other-hand, Barcelona have the best attacking capabilities of any club in (dare I say it) the history of football and if they fire on all cylinders and United are faulty in defence Barcelona could annihilate United.

_________________________________________________________________________

Right i'm gonna hit the bottle now...lol :smileyhappy:
