    MU transfers??

well your picks make sense except for Adu, we wont be able to sign him before the summer because he's still minor if im not mistaken. so maybe a summer target for sure, but that remains to be seen, obviously its to determine his quality that Fergie brought him here to train in the first place.

your transfers out make sense, but i dont know if we'll be getting howard back in the winter or not, if so, theyll have to pay to keep him. its not like we need him however well he's playing. To me kuzscak and Foster are better anyways.

hargreaves and Nani would be a DREAM for me. as you can see im a portugal fan, and i can assure you nani is worth all the hype he's getting. But he plays on the left. so i guess that would allow both winger positions to have one backup. LW giggs and nani, and RW Ronaldo and Park(park only plays on the left to accomodate ronaldo). But nani can also play as a striker. Sporting has a good relation with manu, so i dont fear the competition from other clubs getting him, its just up to them if they want to sell him now tho'. they still have a chance to make the cl knockout stage, and would require all the talent they can get.

Now hargreaves is an obvious choice and the most convoited player by manu's staff and supporters. would be the missing link in our lineup for sure. would allow fergie to change the game around when scholes or carrick arent playing good or if he wants to use the wing more. he brings in the ball winner and it gives us a totally different dimension. of course hargreaves also can play on many other positions and has a wicked shot that he can also unleash from dead ball situations.

i think these are the two vital ones in my views. i may look ignant, but who is bales?

    MU transfers??

Utd have always had a good relationship with Utd and they've signed a transfer deal that allows only Utd to reply to bids made by other clubs. So even if Barca lets say, want Nani, the signing has to go through ManUtd. Its a sweet deal because they act like a great feeder club.

Nani for the Wing, he's right footed, though, which is odd him playing on the LW. Giggs has been playing really well this season but having Nani would just give us extra depth and allow him to settle in for Utd.

I've always liked Hargreaves however, I don't feel as though he will be a Utd player. Malouda is another cheap option who has a good shoulders. I've always fancied Reo Cocker and De Rossi as well. I reckon the later would cost more, but not much more than 17 million.

I have a itch saying Torres will be a Utd player very soon. He's obviously talented and he and Rooney/Ronaldo would be the best attacking trio in the world, imo. I've also like Huntelaar who brings alot to the table.

    Outs: Howard ( 5-7m), Smith (10-12m), Richardson ( 5mil)

    In: Torres ( 27 mil), Malouda ( 10 mil) and Nani ( 15 mil).

i guess youre right. im sure sporting "would" sell him to us. Its up to SAF to work out the financial part and see if he can match the price tag we all know he's worth.

What do you make of moutinho? i would also love to see him play in england... that is only because i cant catch as much superliga action as i would like.

ManU have terms with Lisbon that state that they get first bid. I reckon we have the advantage in chasing young Nani.

exactly, thats why i said its up to SAF to meet the asking price, they surely will sell him at a higher price that we got ronaldo... but it would be money well spent. a very good youngster to go along with our new crop: ben foster, pique, bardsley, martin, rossi, etc.

    MU transfers??

I dont think that Man Utd should allow "old crew" playing reguraly in the team. While I can admit that Scholes is having a great season.. I cant say the same for Giggs... Plus, Man Utd doesnt need so many changes to be honest... I would go for Torres after all.. They have Rooney and Saha...completely unnescessary move.... What they need instead is a good Defensive Middfielder (Hargreeves preferably.... and there's no way Gattuso or Pirlo will leave Milan..trhey just have extended their contracts), one Attacking Middfield...I would go for Diego of Bremen, and DEFINETLY someone instead of G. Neville.....

    MU transfers??

hey.. leave poor Gazza alone you mean milanista! lol

Actually we have an influx of reserves out on loan coming back at RB-CB :

    Simpson - RB

Pique (coming back from Zaragosa) : RB-CB or even Dm it seems

Bardsley (coming back from Villa) - RB

So actually we might have to let bardsley go because we have "too many" reinforcements...

One thing i do agree on is the Hargreaves move. We absolutely need a DM. Weve done quite well this year but Scholsey's not getting any younger.

Besides that, i guess a left winger would be great, and possibly and AM depending on what happens with Giuseppe Rossi.

My choices were- Nani, Moutinho (im pro portuguese of course), but Diego is a good choice obviously.

I wanted us to sign Gareth Bale aswell for LB, but that means we would have to let Heinze go in the near future, and with the way Evra has been playing, i think this summer would be the best time to do it, for his value would still be quite high.

    From Varun's selection...

jaaskelainen/kuszczak----------------------meh, i think Foster will be No 1, Jaaskelainen is already not a younging anymore. ;P
cicinho/bardsley---------------------------- Somehow brazilians dont seem to fit at utd, but if our current crop of RB dont deliver, my dream is Micah Richards from Man city. But there's a slight problem with that transfer...
    ferdinand/pique------------------------------------Dead on.
    vidic/evans------------------------------------------Ditto
    evra/bale--------------------------------------------Double Ditto
reo-coker/fletcher---------------------------------I was for Reo-Coker coming, and i still am, and i think Fletcher will improve enough to be a good CM.
    hargreaves
    /carrick--------------------------------Triple Ditto
ronaldo/nani----------------------------------------Dont get my mouth wattering to much now. Nani would be a dream! But he has slowed down this season, im abit more wary of his potential now.
robinho/adu----------------------------------------Again, brazilians.... meh.Adu i wouldnt mind, lets see what happens.
rooney/agbonlahor-------------------------------Agbonlahor? Why not... Alot of other choices tho. He hasnt impressed me so much this season. Had a run of good games at the start of the season, but nothing too out of the ordinary just yet.
torres/rossi---------------------------------------Torres? Could be... if so, i dunno if Rossi would stick around, maybe he would tho.

The problem with your selection, is that we seem to have too many first team players. Like Carrick, Hargreaves and Reo-Coker in midfield?? Then, Nani, Ronaldo, Robinho and adu on the wings???

I gotta say defence is dead on, except for maybe cicinho. I dont think he'd want to come to us really. To cold for the little brazilian.lol

Offense seems ok. maybe minus agbon-lahor it would work. We need 3 youngins and a veteran. Like the good old Yorke -Cole-Ole and Teddy years. Guess the Veteran could be Cole himself lol.

    lol @ franck...

man he ha srun out of his time for sure.. Neville had his time...true that he is the captain...true that he is much related to t his... but hey... player is a player and not a team...

But I have to amdit that Man Utd team is quite sofisticated and doesnt need much transfers. Maybe their bench should change...causse seeing O'Shea playing is really dissasster, or Scotich pal of Ferguson, Fletcher who is there just cause he is Scotish....

Maybe the generation from 92 should leave finally, Scholes, Giggs, Neville....or at least be golden subs and leave new blood to do their job...

meh, neville is still the best RB we have for now, with Big Bad Wes Brown as the sub. Brown can start for the FA cups games and so on. But i ccould say the same thing about Maldini mind you!! Neville is still one our best crosser, his overlap is brilliant. His defensive duties are still fulfilled, with his perfect timed tackles and his drive, but i must admit he gets outmuscled some times. Still tho, he's a good captain and a consistent right back that complements well Ronaldo as he stays back most of the time playing deep balls, wich allows Ronaldo to not worry about defending and concentrate on attacking.

I do believe this is Giggs last year in the first 11 tho. i mean, he shows in many games how he tires as the game rolls on. I think he'll do an excellent sub next year as he can change a game with his vision when he comes in. He'll still start some games tho', but that wont be the majority of 'em.

As for Scholes, well it depends what he shows in these last few months really. All i can say is that he's been immense in the first half of the season, one of our most valuable assets if not the most. Controlled the midfield by himself he did. Quick passes, short passes, keeping the ball, long passes, goals, only his tackling hasnt been better than what it always was.Stick out tongue [:P] Kind of shows you why we werent dominant last year... scholes wasnt in form. I still think he could have a rotation starting spot with Hargreaves and Carrick.

I would like Fletcher and O'shea to stay. They kind of remind me of Nicky Butt and Phil Neville.

Fletcher = nicky butt. Pacey midfielder who can come in and do a more than decent job in the middle and on the wings. Had some stinkers in the past, but has tremendously improved this year.

O'shea = P. Neville. The other Neville could play LB and in midfield like O'Shea. And O'Sheazzy showed us last year he could be quite reliable in difficult stretches when were plagued with injury. In bonus, he showed us we could have the next Buffon in between the posts against Watford LOL!

Players i would LOVE to see leave to let in place for some youngsters are Richardson( to give space for Rossi basically) and Silvestre (to give some much needed place in defence with 3 players coming back from loan that could make the first team basically). Wouldnt hate to see even Wes Brown leave maybe... Oh and Alan Smith unfortunetly...

The team Fergie is building is going to be even better than it is right now.  I'm starting to comfort myself in the fact Ronaldo might leave but he won't find more stability anywhere else than he has right now.  Madrid is still a long way from being stable and fixed and Barca is feeling the same thing right now.  In my opinion Ronaldo owes a lot to SAF and United but I don't think that will stop him.  He is an amazing player but he can be replaced just like Becks was replaced.  A few of our bench players will move on after the season is finished as well.

I'd waited long enough. I fucking hit him hard. The ball was there (I think). Take that, you ***. And don't ever stand over me again sneering about fake injuries.”

What Utd have to do is make sure they have Ronaldo and Rooney for the next while in their careers. IMO Rooney will be with us forever, however I don't know about Ronaldo but I believe that if he add a little more Portuguese flavor to our club, he wuold like to stay. I think Nani and Hargreaves are sure buys in the summer. I would prefer Hunterlaar to Torres anyday of the week. We don't need another pretty boy superstart who wants the attention, but rather a RVN mood of a player, that is why Hunterlaar would be the perfect choice, not to mention he would be 10 million cheaper.

On another note, what ever happened to Maniche? I think I've read he want to go play in Russia, I would have loved to have him in our squad, even as a backup.

to anwer to your question maniche played in Russia last year before he was loaned out to Chelsea. He now plays with Athletico Madrid for bad or for worst...

To me Maniche is an experienced fletcher with a wicked long range shot. I guess Carrick is our "reserved" Maniche. But whatever he loses in passion, he gains in consistency.
