    Anyone Been?
Anyone been to an away match for their club? Cant here in Australia. I'll have 2 fly to another state most of the time. It'll be like flying to another country in Europe.

Yeah that must suck, premier league rivals being like a 2 hour flight away .. im sure it will grow in time in aus .. investment in the teams seems to be greater now .. so does intrest in this game.

It's difficult from the States, too. I've been to Vienna and Siena to see Parma play. What we really look forward to is the summer here, when clubs like Barca, Man U and Milan play friendlies in the U.S. Tickets are impossible to get, though.

I chose the match first and then planned my holiday around it. The Vienna trip was to see the UEFA cup match in April of 2005. Siena was for fun and we decided to spend Christmas there.

Hell, you guys should all be lucky to have a decent soccer league to go watch in person. MLS is just poor quality soccer, and San Jose Eathquakes moved ARGHHH got nothing to watch here. I've gone to Korea to watch Korean national games in 2002, I am hoping to go to Greece this year for the Champions League final. Saving up begins now.

I would tell you guys about my experience as a kid when i watched chelsea playing liverpool at anfield. Some of the oldies in this forum would remember that my dad was a diehard liverpool fan, though i'm the opposite to him. We went to anfield to watch that match, though we were the residents of london at that time. I was just 5 yrs old at that time. About the result, i could only tell that chelsea lost the game. My dad enjoyed it the most. We were among the scousers, though we were supposed to be among the away fans.

The crowd was awesome as always, on that day. i remember, my dad getting me a red jersey just before the match, though i resisted a bit before wearing it, since i never liked the colour red, even as a kid. In the end, i had to spend the whole day celebrating...

Liverpool owner Beer <b>George Gillett, 28th May 2007 : "Beer <b>Chelsea are perhaps the Idea <i>greatest club in the world. And They're not going to get any worse."
