    Re: FIFA 07
I bought the last 2 but ive pretty much had enough .. all the patches needed just to stop it crashing during online play, all the stupid little things like every team must have 20 man squad, never keeping a career history of the players so its impossible to know who to buy, recycling names so buffon is a striker in like the 2nd season. Quite poor to be honest .. they could do alot better. The main reason i did buy it is because they use real names but when they recycle them its just really lame.

    Re: FIFA 07
well i think theres no other way but to recycle names... what do you expect to get names like Rodney, Buffine, or whatever.

i think pes does the same thing.

its just a stupid detail in my view really.

to me what is most important is gameplay and the manager mode.

gameplay looks more precise but still fun to play at. also they seem to have upgraded it alot. Not as complicated as PES, but looks pretty good in general.

    Re: FIFA 07
Why is there no other way ... those discs can hold a hell of alot more data then fifa uses on them .. they can either use youth players in squads or make up random names .. but reusing the names baggio ever 5 players and not even getting the nationalities right is just lame. Just my opinion though, if manager games can use youth squads and young young players signed up then EA games fifa can put a lil more effort in, especially since they market their "manager mode" so much .... i must say what bugs me most is the stats thing .. each year your players history should be saved so atleast you know what you have in your squad and how usefull they are .. also the money situation is stupid, it makes no sense .. kinda liek the transfer options .. top players like zidane choosing some club like sao paulo over bayern munich which isnt realistic at all.

    Re: FIFA 07
well they said they'll use real currency in fifa 2007 and it should be more realistic...

the reason why people wont sign with your team instead of another is that your negotiator level is too low.

    Re: FIFA 07
or teams have not enuf players in their roster!!!
I like it though, hate the recycling of the names, maybe the career shuld go down 2 5 years and remove the simulation so everyone has to play every match and the game isnt finished so quickly...Its in EA's hands...

    Re: FIFA 07

Surely it will be on the EA fifa game website website, they should pre release the pathces for online play coz we all know it will be broken .. useless!! CRASH CRASH CRASH.

Not gonna waste my money on it this year .. ill stick to sega football manager on the pc. (I know its a manager game).

    Re: FIFA 07
well i bought the game now... improvement over fifa 06 no doubt... i like the way you fight for position when trying to catch a ball in the air... but i also think its a little bit too hard to connect on crosses in the box...

dribbling is more complicated wich is good, i mean it was waaaaay too easy in 06. the variety of shots is also a good improvement... i mean the finesse shot is a welcomed addition. and the players finally can score screamers!! about damn time!

also the manager mode is way better. I like the fact you can choose your currency, the financial predictions, board expectations.. how you can pick players from your youth system.

I would give it one and a half thumbs up! very enjoyable indeed. I find also that the crowd reactions are way more on cue and the outcome of the game is more realistic... it feels like its a game i could be watching on the tele sometimes.
