You must have heard him around Villareal, come to think of it, that is perhaps what influenced Riquelme to join them.  He was more or less a flop though and he isn't as good as it sounds with him scoring so many with Boca Juniors, but hey some here will argue that the Argentine league(South American) is as strong as in Europe.  However, he hasn't really played for Argentina, so that is a pretty good indication to how good they think he is.

Between him and the other guy Barca were looking at, am...Palacio score pretty much most of the goals if Boca Juniors are to be winning games.

Nonetheless, from what i can remember of him at Villareal he's useful but at Boca Juniors he looks better than he actually is

yup that's the long and short of it, the real talented Argentines are not at Boca Juniors...You'll have to search for those though, i saw goal publish a list of the top 5 argentine catches in Argentina
