I was just thinking the other day why doesnt this site have a bayern munich thread. Well done FOXHOUND. Bayern Munich after missing out on UEFA Champions League football for this year have bought some great players to try qualify for the champions league as well as winning back the Bundesliga title. Bayern Munich have got klose from werder bremen, toni from fiorentina and ribery from marseille. All world class players and all prolific goal scorers. Bayern Munich have replaced makaay who went to feyenoord and pizzaro who left for chelsea with Toni and Klose upfront. With an already outstanding defence and developing midfield, Bayern munich will be stronger than ever with these classy forwards joining rising star podolski upfront.

Will the losses of Hargreaves, Salihamizdic, Pizzaro and Makaay affect Bayern Munich negatively? Or will the signings of Klose, Ribery and Toni outweigh the losses and improve the team?

no big losses there. i feel they will win the title this year with ease.

I also think bayern munich will win back the title. Their great defence and awesome goal scoring forwards (toni, klose, santa cruz and podolski) should win back their title and get them back into uefa champions league football.

i think they beat bremen 4-1 over night.

What do you think of schweinstieger? He has a great shot and is a reasonable player all round. Do you think he is world class, up with the likes of Lampard, Fabregas, Torres etc.?

Ribery is really fitting in well. He scored and set the other up in a 2-0 win over vfB stuttgart. Watch out for ribery this season. He should help Bayern Munich win back the Bundesliga and win the UEFA Cup.

bayern munich have bought some excellent forwards- klose, toni, ribery, schlaudraff and munich already have young superstar podolski and accomplished forward santa cruz.

Which forwards should Bayern Munich play in thier first starting team?

I would prefer Ribery in the midfield or wing and play Toni and Klose/Podolski upfront.

santa cruz to blackburn

yeah i think its a good move. santa cruz was 5th choice striker behind klose, toni, podolski and shlaudraff. And he is still a decent player, but i dont no if he is suited to the english premier game and whether he will fit into blakburn. The seasons just around the corner so all we can do is wit n see. I think he will struggle at 1st but get better as the season goes on.
