I don't expect Liverpool to be contenders for the EPL this season, no matter what even Sir Alex says.  He has to say to his players not to count out Chelsea and Liverpool just like all sides, but the truth is, Liverpool have not been real title challengers for quite some time....just consistent top 4 performers and sometimes only barely

Liverpool just have somthing missing, and chelsea have lost their swagger of Mourinho.  Arsenal just play brilliantly, and Wenger has them sorted out well.  I still honestly belive that United are the strongest side, with depth and unrelenting attacking power.

Anderson was brilliant agaisnt Gerrard, so thats Fabergas and Gerrard he has out played so far.  Not bad for a 19 year old brazillian who apparantly needed some time to adapt... lol

i really think manutd will come real close to winning it again. their squad has the experience as well as the flamboyount youth.

However, i think Man United have a bit of a double edged sword in that C. Ronaldo may leave if it gets too easy or if he  doesn't win a CL or World Player of the Year soon.  Like Henry, he'll get frustrated, only faster and come to Spain with either Madrid or Barcelona...hopefully Barcelona

Nontheless, Arsenal are showing more fighting spirit this season than even I expected, but ultimately, i think if Man United keep it up, Arsenal will slip again and that will be curtains...United repeat as champions.

Extremely intersting draw.  Lyon's a tough one for sure

As for Arsenal I don't see why the need a miracle, sure AC Milan are a top team and always at their best in the CL, but Arsenal has a real chance I think.

lyon to upset manutd imo

i know manutd are very powerful but they are concentrating on epl as well. lyon has wrapped up ligue 1 it seems and may attack manutd's weakness' (if any)

Finally we're in first place, where we belong! There's still a long way to go, but at least we're in the driver's seat

I like Arsenal and the way they paly though, so I hope they keep playing well and winning (just slightly less than ManU) so that they finish second behind us.

its gonna be hard for arsenal now. considering they have lost 1st place and have the african cup of nations nxt month.
