he never had pace to begin with, for a forward in the EPL, its a handicap. he'll be more of a threat in the Champions League. He shouldnt have left Milan but he's here now, Mourinho is gone, i think he'l improve because he'll get plenty of playing time in Kalou and Drogba's absence.

wrong system imo... chelsea does not provide the slick passing of milan, that is of course in the jose era.. perhaps now that grant is in charge and playing roman's preferance of entertaining football rather than effective football he will be a better fit.

Good point  I think you are right.

bare in mind, Shevchenko was not playing as a striker anymore for Milan.  His goal production had started to reduce and they dropped him back a little behind the strikers, so Kaka would've been less central and to the right while Shevchenko was providing the strikers up front sort of like Totti i guess until somebody decided that Totti could play striker for Italy
