    FIFA 09 - Things you want to see.

    I wanted to post some of the things I want to see on FIFA 08 (for some time now)... Anyway, the people that have played FIFA over the years, like from FIFA05-to-FIFA07, might have noticed that is almost the same f-u-c-k-i-n-g game, the only thing EA Sports improved are the graphics, apart from that the game is far far away from real football... I even think Winning Eleven is ahead of FIFA..

    This are some of my ideas for FIFA 09, because FIFA 08 is already finished, should come out on late August, I think... Well the first improvement I want to see is in the skills, I want to see more, a lot more skills, like: 1.Marking, 2.Tackling, 3.Pressing, 4.Workrate, 5.Sprint speed, 6.Acceleration, 7.Short sprints, 8.Response, 9.Reaction, 10.Anticipation, 11.Attacking Awareness, 12.Defensive awareness, 13.Step-over, 14.Lane change, 15.360/180/Roulette, 16.Offensive fakes, 17. Pull back, 18. Flick ball up, 19.Nutmeg, 20.Dribbling speed, 21.Short passing, 22.Passing technique, 24. Long passing, 25.Vision, 26.Creating space, 27.Crossing, 28.Finding cross, 29.Stamina, 30.Strenght, 31.Composure, 32.Agression, 33.Shot accuracy, 34.Shooting technique, 35.Long shoots, 36.Shoot power, 37.Balance, 38.Finding space, 39.Heading accuracy, 40.Heading power, 41.Ball controll, 42.Shielding the ball, 43.Jump, 45.Finishing, 46.Curling, 47.Team work, 48.Weak foot accuracy, 49.Heading technique, 50.Heel ability, 51.Goalkeeper awareness, 52.Reflexes(GK), 53.Diving(GK), 54.Handling(GK), 55.Positioning(GK), 56.Free-kick, 57.Tactical awareness, 58.Volley, 59.Bycicle kick, 60.First touch(very important), ...

    This are just the main things I want to see, however I have a lot of other Ideas I'll post later.. would like to know what you, if you've played the game/FIFA, think or if you have some other suggestions..

    Re: FIFA 09 - Things you want to see.

    I havent played FIFA08, but the makers already hinted that it was basically FIFA07 with some minor improvements. Wich, of course means, that the game will have excellent graphics, but the game-play will be too easy and unrealistic, just like in FIFA07... I mean, I could score four goals with H.Larsson in each game of the season, in fact I could score a hat-trick with any player (defenders or att.mids)...

    My main critics to FIFA 07;

    *1) Too easy, it's like it is meant for six year olds.. and Football demands a lot of thinking and focusing...,

    *2) The oposition allows you to much space, or too much space on the field (there should be a lot more pressuring),

    *3) Why don't they have the cool Classic players?, the ones people want to see on great graphics; Maradona, Cruijff, Platini, Pelé, R.Baggio, Valderrama, G.Best, F.Hierro, Garrincha, Batistuta, M. Le Tissier, Di Stéfano, Romário, Eusebio, etc...,

    *4)Champions League, they've got to add. the Champions League to FIFA. It was very laim and $$$ of them to make a game about The Champions League. I understand the World Cup games, they come out every four years... But to do a Champions League game every year?, in my opinion they're ripping off their customers.

    *5)The skills of the players are too few, they are below the basics.. they need to add. a lot more skills for the players..

    *6)Too generic, they also need to add. a lot more authenticity to the players in the game (C.Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Riquelme, etc..., they all run and dribble the same exact way in FIFA07), and to the game itself..

    I expect a huge improvement on the graphics for FIFA 08, as it is for the PS3.
