The thing about it is that there are a whole bunch of factors that weigh in hevily but you are right essentially......Now she is happily married to a "nice rich fair-skinned indian boy" that her parents always wanted.....I'm sooo stupid they always used to tell me that "it's better for people of the same race to get married" but i thought that with the education that they had and their supposed love for God that they'd be more big minded that that...sill me!! Apparently I was the backup plan in case their scheme for getting the boy failed (which as I learned was hatched two years before I bought her engagement ring)...So basically I've wasted seven years of my life Anyhow if lumir hears me talking about his he'd kick my ass !!


I'm not completely african but they saw me that way....Some old-school indian people revere white people (this dates back to colonial / post slavery times)....Even my dad who is 100% indian often said that he wishes he were white.....
