Ok let us put it differently then, to confirm what Capello actually said on Ronaldo....

Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has handed AC Milan's injury-plagued Ronaldo the ultimate compliment.

The Dutch ace declared: "I think Ronaldo is the best striker of all time, I played with him here in Madrid when he returned from injury and, although not 100 per cent, was incredible.

"He is the strongest player I have played with."

managers can have negative opinions on players for one reason or anotha. ronaldo "was" a good striker. i say was cause i dun think he has what he had b4. and he is not the best of all time.

Had he been on top form more often he could have been one of the best of all time, but he's been so inconsistent throughout his career that he can't be seen has one of the all time best in my opinion
