FIFA side with Real Madrid in Robinho dispute

FIFA have overruled the Brazilian Confederation to clear Robinho for Real Madrid ahead of Sunday's title decider against Real Mallorca.

Real's front office received a fax from FIFA last night clearing him from international commitments for the game - so going against the wishes of Brazil coach Dunga who had demanded Robinho's presence for their Copa America preparations.

There had been threats of points being deducted, but FIFA have sided with Real in the dispute.

Real Madrid make 7M-a-year offer to Kaka's Dad

Real Madrid chiefs are in talks with AC Milan midfield ace Kaka over personal terms, it has been revealed.

Tuttosport says Real sports director Pedja Mijatovic and his No2, Franco Baldini, met with the father of Kaka, Bosco, this week.

Bosco was informed that Real are willing to pay his son a clear £7 million-a-year to leave Milan this summer. The Madrid giants would also table a cash bid of £40 million to the Rossoneri for the Brazilian ace, this year's favourite for the Ballon d'Or.

Real Madrid were crowned champions of Spain for the 30th time as they came from behind to beat Real Mallorca at the Bernabeu in a thrilling conclusion to the Primera Liga title race.

Barcelona pushed their great rivals all the way as they secured a 5-1 win at Gimnastic, but, in David Beckham's final game in Spain, Real scored three times in 13 minutes to turn the tide in their favour and claim the title by virtue of a superior head-to-head record.

Sevilla were put out of the equation by their 1-0 defeat by Villarreal, but the result at the Bernabeu meant all others were unimportant as Fabio Capello's side reclaimed the Spanish crown for the first time in four years.

Mallorca gave Real an early warning when Juan Arango hit the post, and they duly took a shock lead to stun the Bernabeu when, on 17 minutes, Fernando Varela finished a sweeping counter-attack with a fine finish.

The evening grew worse for Los Merengues when top scorer Ruud van Nistelrooy was removed due to injury on 33 minutes, denying the Dutchman the chance to claim the European Golden Boot award from Francesco Totti.

Beckham rattled the crossbar with a free-kick on 56 minutes, but Real made a vital breakthrough on 67 minutes when Jose Antonio Reyes scored with his first touch after coming on as a substitute.

An Angelo Basinas own goal on 81 minutes and another strike from the on-loan Reyes sent the Bernabeu into raptures and gave Beckham the perfect send-off before his journey to America.

At Gimnastic, Barca scored after 20 minutes against La Liga's bottom side as captain Carles Puyol finished off a superbly worked move from the Catalans, and Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi duly added a second before the break with a wonderful curling effort.

Frank Rijkaard's side continued to pile the pressure on their title rivals on 38 minutes when Ronaldino produced a perfect free-kick for a third, and, after the break, Messi added his second from close range (52).

Gianluca Zambrotta then replied to Tobias Grahn's consolation goal, but even a thumping win was not enough for the Catalans.

Any hopes Sevilla had of clinching their first title since 1946 suffered a huge blow on 50 minutes when Fabricio Fuentes headed past Andres Palop to put Villarreal in front in Andalucia.

Juande Ramos' side were unable to battle back, but their result was made unimportant by Real and Barca's victories in any case.

Villarreal's victory handed them a Uefa Cup place, and they were joined in Europe by Real Zaragoza after their 1-1 draw at Recreativo, Diego Milito (75) replying to Javi Guerrero (3).

Atletico Madrid were unable to clinch a place in the Uefa Cup despite a 2-1 win at Osasuna, as they missed out to Zaragoza on head-to-head record.

A strike from Maxi Rodriguez (38) and an own goal from Ignacio Monreal Eraso (53) sandwiched Savo Milosevic's effort (48).

A late rally from Real Betis saved them from Segunda Division football, along with Athletic Bilabo, as Real Sociedad and Celta Vigo joined Gimnastic in suffering relegation from the Spanish top flight in the early kick-offs.

Betis had Brazilian forward Edu to thank for safeguarding their Primera Liga status as they claimed two goals in the final ten minutes to beat Racing Santander 2-0.

With Celta and Athletic Bilbao both winning on the final day in La Liga, Betis were heading to the second tier with the score locked at 0-0 at El Sardinero.

However, Edu scored after 80 and 90 minutes to ensure that the Andalucian club responded perfectly to the sacking of manager Luis Fernandez last week.

Athletic Bilbao achieved their own crucial win in more comfortable fashion as an own goal from Serrano Jose (60) and a strike from Igor Gabilondo gave them a 2-0 triumph over Levante.

The Basque Country club therefore finished equal on Betis with 40 points, just one point above Celta as Hristo Stoichkov's side suffered relegation despite a 2-1 win at home to Getafe.

Pablo Redondo (26) struck first for Getafe, and despite the best efforts of Habib Bamogo (36) and Matias Lequi (67), Bulgarian legend Stoichkov could not affect results elsewhere and engineer his club's survival.

Real Sociedad will also be playing second tier football for the first time in 40 years next season after a 3-3 draw with Valencia, but only a miracle could have saved the Basque Country club in any case.

Valencia - guaranteed of UEFA Champions League football - struck at the Mestalla thanks to another effort from David Villa and own goals from Victor Lopez (20) and Mikel Alonso (82).

Sociedad showed admirable fight despite their impending fate though, as Gaizka Garitano (3), Inigo Diaz De Cerio (37) and another own goal from Emiliano Moretti (95) earned them a draw.

In the fifth and final early kick-off in Spain, Deportivo La Coruna beat mid-table rivals Espanyol 3-1 in Barcelona.

Espanyol took the lead through a Raul Tamudo penalty (47), but Iago Iglesias (60), Sergio (62) and Riki (84) gave Depor a comfortable victory.

(SOURCE = PLANET FOOTBALL) Fabio Capello is hoping to stay as Real Madrid coach, although president Ramon Calderon will not rush into a decision.

Italian coach Capello delivered a first Primera Liga title in four years to Real after Sunday's 3-1 win over Real Mallorca.

But he is unsure if the title success will be enough to keep his job after his future was placed in doubt in recent months.

"To continue depends on Calderon," Capello told the media after Sunday's game. "Me, I want to continue. In the last meeting, I said that clearly.

"It should be asked of Calderon if the title is sufficient or if he will call on another coach."

The likes of Bernd Schuster and Rafa Benitez had been linked with the Bernabeu post earlier in the campaign as Real struggled to reel in Barcelona at the top of the table.

After the match, Calderon preferred to bask in the glory of a landmark title success and will hold talks with Capello once the celebrations have died down.

Calderon said: "It is the club's 30th Liga, and in my first year as president.

"It is necessary to continue working to win all the titles to which we will aspire next season.

"We will enjoy this title for the next few days. In one week, we will speak, with peace and serenity.

"There is no decision made. We will see what is best for the club."

(SOURCE = PLANET FOOTBALL) Real Madrid have been in contact about West Ham United striker Carlos Tevez, according to the Argentine's agent.

Tevez's future at Upton Park remains unclear following the row which landed The Hammers with a £5.5million fine and saw Sheffield United contest the punishment.

During the closing weeks of the season, Tevez was instrumental in keeping West Ham in the Premier League, but has yet to commit his future to the club.

He recently admitted it was 'time to join a big club', with Serie A champions Internazionale declaring an interest.

Newly-crowned Spanish champions Real have also been strongly linked with a £30million bid for the former Corinthians star.

Tevez's agent Adrian Ruocco has confirmed the interest from Real, but is refusing to rule out the possibility of the fans' hero staying at Upton Park.

"There's been contact with Real Madrid," Ruocco told the Sun.

"We've been patient, but if Real don't make a concrete offer then Carlos has a lot of options.

"He has offers from Europe's biggest clubs.

"But there's no need to rule out anything, including staying at West Ham where he is settled and wanted."

(SOUCRE = PLANET FOOTBALL) Javier Saviola has refused to rule out a move to Real Madrid, but admits that he feels bitter about the way his final months at Barcelona concluded.

The Argentinian striker was given only a limited role in the team this season, despite the injury to Samuel Eto'o, and was then offered a heavily-reduced contract.

After being made a virtual outcast at Camp Nou, he has taken the decision to leave on a free transfer this summer and made no bones about how unhappy he is with some people inside the club.

"Everyone knows how they have behaved during all this," he said in his final press conference at the club.

"I cannot point the finger at anyone, but I leave with a bitter taste in my mouth as things were never made clear.

"They have not behaved very well towards me, but that was their decision.

"They have acted like this and only they will know why, but I leave with a clear conscience, knowing that I have tried to do the best that I can here.

"There are a thousand questions that need answering.

"I do not know if I have been made a slave to that contract. It is a question that I would like to know the answer to, but only the people that have made these decisions can answer that."

Without naming names, Saviola made it clear that coach Frank Rijkaard and technical secretary Txiki Begiristain could have changed his situation.

"They were the ones that have the answers and only they can say why they have done this," he continued.

"I do not know who is more guilty, but the blame can be shared by everyone really."

Reflecting on reports that he is a target for Real Madrid, Saviola admitted that he was not going to dismiss any club, although he would not make a decision based on his treatment at Barca.

"I have not closed the door to anyone," he explained. "I will use my professionalism and my judgement to make a decision.

"I do not want to do something just to hurt people at Barcelona.

"I have had some great times, have made many friends and leave with enormous gratitude for many people here.

"I shall only remember the good things, like having played in one of the biggest clubs in the world alongside some of the best players and to be recognised as a good player around the world.

"I have always said that I wanted to finish my contract here and after thinking long and hard about it, I do not regret that.

"Now I am ready for another chapter and I hope that it goes better than this one."

(SOURCE = PLANET FOOTBALL) Bernd Schuster has said that he expects to become the new coach of Real Madrid this summer, despite Fabio Capello guiding the club to the league title.

The German coach was reported to have signed a pre-contract agreement to take over at the Bernabeu, when Madrid appeared to have little chance of winning silverware in February.

Capello's future at the club is still up in the air despite Sunday's championship triumph and Schuster has made it clear that he wants to take the Italian's place.

"I do not want go mad about this and only want to say that I am geared towards coaching Real Madrid next season," Schuster said in an interview with the German Football Association (DFB).

"For a long time I have been preparing to go there and Madrid is part of my plans.

"I am intrigued to see what will happen at Madrid over the next couple of weeks."

While Capello is rumoured to want to stay on, negotiations are due to take place between president Ramon Calderon and sporting director Predrag Mijatovic this week.

Schuster recognises that the title win could change his plans, but he is ready to stay on at Getafe and guide them through their first ever European campaign.

"I am the coach of Getafe and still have a contract for another year," he continued.

"As finalists in the Copa del Rey we have qualified for the Uefa Cup, which is something to look forward to and something which I have helped achieve.

"I am secure at Getafe, all the rest is speculation."

(SOURCE = PLANET FOOTBALL) Four names have been tipped as Fabio Capello's successor at Real Madrid - including Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Italian Capello's future at El Santiago Bernabeu remains in doubt despite helping Real land the coveted Liga title last weekend.

Real are expected to clear up Capello's position early next week, although the merry-go-round regarding a possible successor has already started.

Bernabeu supremo Ramon Calderon has revealed he wanted Bernd Schuster prior to Capello's appointment and still remains keen on the ex-Real player.

However, Calderon has been in talks with Predrag Mijatovic and the sporting director has also come up with a short-list of his own, which includes Wenger.

The experienced French tactician's long-term future remains unclear as he has just 12 months left on his existing deal, although Real are against approaching anyone under contract.

"According to Mijatovic we cannot talk to anyone who has a contract," he told Reuters.

"But if we need a new coach and Schuster sorts things out with Getafe then I imagine Mijatovic will look at him.

"But Mijatovic has also talked to me about (Ronald) Koeman, (Michael) Laudrup and (Arsene) Wenger."

(SOURCE = FOX SPORTS FOOTBALL AUSTRALIA) Fabio Capello was axed by newly crowned Spanish champion Real Madrid on Thursday, announced the club's sporting director Pedja Mijatovic.

The 61-year-old coach's sacking was confirmed after a Real board meeting on Thursday.

"We have decided not to continue with Fabio Capello as our coach for next season,'' said Mijatovic.

"It was not an easy decision to take as he has worked well. But he is not the ideal person to achieve all that we want."

Spanish daily Marca had earlier reported that Mijatovic telephoned Capello's close advisor, Franco Baldini, to inform him of the club's decision to give the Italian his marching orders.

Marca reported that Real president Ramon Calderon justified the move to the Real directors by insisting the side must "always search for excellence''.

"We've made an important step with the title, we've laid the foundations but we need to find another more enthusiastic way of playing,'' Calderon was quoted as saying.

Capello, who has coached AC Milan and Juventus in Serie A, leaves the Bernabeu Stadium with two years on his contract still remaining and having delivered it its 30th title and first since 2003.

His departure had also been predicted by AS, which suggested Real would name Getafe's German coach Bernd Schuster as Capello's successor.

I will take over at Real Madrid next week, says Schuster

MADRID: Bernd Schuster, the German coach of Spanish top flight outfit Getafe, said in an interview with sports daily AS yesterday he expected to be installed within days as Fabio Capello’s successor at Real Madrid.

“I am sure all will be sorted out next week,” said Schuster, 47, a former Real star who also played with distinction in Spain with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

“Angel (Torres, the Getafe chairman) has made me very happy. He knows I have given my all for Getafe these past two years and he will not stand in the way of me fulfilling my dream. He has behaved like a gentleman and I am sure there will be no problem,” Schuster told AS

Capello was sacked on Thursday despite leading Real to a record 30th league title.

He also won the league in his first one-season spell in charge at the Bernabeu in 1997 but the Real board did not like his sometimes pedestrian style of play.

Fans were also underwhelmed by Capello, despite his landing the club their first silverware since 2003.

Sporting director Predrag Mijatovic said on Thursday that Schuster was a candidate but noted he was under contract at Getafe, a modest side just outside Madrid which he took to the Spanish King’s Cup final.

Mijatovic said Capello’s successor had to be young and understand the kind of footballing philosophy Real were seeking.

Schuster corresponds perfectly to that description, having spent most of his playing and indeed coaching career in Spain, where he arrived as a young midfielder in 1980 for the start of eight years at Barcelona. In 13 years in La Liga he won three league titles and six Spanish King’s Cups.

    Cannavaro staying with Real Madrid
    June 30, 2007

Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro wants to stay in Spain next season, insists his agent.

"I don't think Capello's departure will change anything for Fabio, I don't see why it should," Gaetano Fedele told Affaritaliani.it.

"These are two different issues. The player liked the Coach very much, but Real Madrid brought him here.

"I have been reading the stories in the newspapers, it is logical that Fabio would one day like to return to his home country, but now this could be premature.

"He wants to play in the Champions League with Real Madrid, we have spoken about this and he wants to win a trophy that is still missing in his showcase."

(SOURCE = EUROSPORT) Real set for record 90m euro bid for Kaka

MADRID (AFP) - Real Madrid will later this week offer AC Milan 90 million euros (123 million US dollars) for the Italian side's Brazilian star Kaka, Spanish sports daily Marca reported Monday.

If the deal goes through it would be the most expensive transfer in football history.

The offer will be made "probably Wednesday or Thursday" in Milan during a meeting between officials of the two clubs which officially will discuss the possible transfer of Real Madrid forward Julio Baptista, the newspaper said.

"Real Madrid will launch a total offensive this week for Kaka," it said.

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has put Kaka, who was inspirational in Milan's Champions League triumph last season, on the top of his wish list.

But the 25-year-old is under contract with AC Milan until June 2011 and he has said he is happy to stay at the Italian side.

"Real Madrid are a fantastic club, but money isn't everything," he told Italian news agency ANSA last week.

"I have also learned from friends who have left Milan how they deeply regretted doing so. I want to make history here," he added at the time.

The biggest transfer in football history so far was that of Zinedine Zidane when he signed for Real Madrid from Italian side Juventus in 2001 for 75 million euros.

    Real Madrid: The Main Targets

Real Madrid have been casting their net far and wide this summer in a bid to attract the one world class star that Bernd Schuster so badly wants to bolster his midfield.

While many of the stories and reports have amazed and outraged clubs, players and fans alike, none of the rumours have actually materialised into a conrete signing. At least not yet?

The club have strengthened their defence, backed up their goalkeeping options and added a new striker, but so far the numerous midfield targets have remained elusive.

Goal.com takes a look at who Madrid have been linked with and the reasons why none of them have yet been paraded at the Bernabéu in the club's new kit.

    Kaká (AC Milan)

AC Milan have become almost as infuriated as football fans everywhere with Madrid's continuous attempts, both in person and in the media, to prise the Brazilian superstar away from the San Siro.

Ramón Calderón named Kaká as one of the players that he would sign if he won the presidential elections last year, but after his victory found that negotiating the transfer was virtually impossible.

Under the previous regime, world class players were targetted and then, by whatever means necessary, the club eventually captured the player. Luis Figo and David Beckham were easy catches, but Zinedine Zidane's and Ronaldo's transfers were long and drawn out affairs that saw a collective sigh of relief when they signed for Madrid.

The more that AC Milan reject Madrid's advances, the higher the next bid is predicted to be by the Spanish and Italian papers and it could be that everyone is looking forward to the end of the transfer window, just so that this saga can be put on hold for a few months.

    Cesc Fàbregas (Arsenal)

Unlike with Kakà, the media appear to accept that the chase for Cesc, another of Calderón's pre-election promises, is over and have actually stopped reporting that Madrid could try one last time to test the Gunners' patience with another offer before the end of August.

Fàbregas has made all the right noises as he claimed that he could not leave his mentor, Arsène Wenger, or the north London who he believes he owes so much to and with each comment he slowly made the circling vultures disappear. Unlike several of Madrid's other targets, Cesc is clearly happy where is and has made that plainly clear, but there may just be one other aspect to the whole story that has seen interest cool.

The Fàbregas family are staunch FC Barcelona fans and with Cesc representing the Catalan club and admitting to also being a Culé, the Madrid-biased press are not so adamant that they really want a dyed-in-the-wool Barça fan representing el Real. Outsiders may not agree, but politics in Spanish football are ingrained and in the media especially.

    Arjen Robben (Chelsea)

The Dutch wideman may not constitute the world class star that Florentino Perez specialised in, but he would be a welcome addition for Schuster. Robben is the third player that Calderón said would be joining should he win the Bernabéu hotseat and it is certain that should a transfer finally go through then the president will state that he is the first and the other two will follow.

Chelsea have opted to play hardball and have doubled their original evaluation of the injury-prone star. Madrid are said to have offered €31m, but now the Blues require €36m which is a quantity that Calderón has stated is excessive. Schuster is very keen on landing Robben and it is his desire to sign the former PSV trickster that is driving the rumour and speculation forward.

Chelsea have added to the uncertainty by offering the player a new contract which he may or may not have rejected, depending on what one believes. Whatever the current state of play, the Robben soap opera is set to continue to be messy until either Chelsea decide to sell or Madrid give up.

    Alexandre Pato (Internacional)

Followers of Brazilian football maybe be able to truly state that the 17-year-old is the real deal or not, but for those that have not seen him regularly a reliance on the European media's fascination with the tug-of-war between some of the continent's biggest clubs maybe giving a warped view.

Such is the craze among the media and supporters about where the prodigal starlet should go, that one would expect Pato to have recently starred in a major international tournament in order to cause such a fuss. AC Milan have sent representatives to Brazil to persuade the player to join them, while Madrid have constantly held talks with his family as well to tempt them to make a decision, but nothing has happened yet.

Schuster, who has quickly proved to be good at using the media, has hardly mentioned the interest in Pato. How serious Madrid are about signing him remains to be seen, but the media coverage will continue unabated as the Spanish press would see his signature as a victory over the Italians.

Note: Since this article was written, news has filtered through that AC Milan have signed the player, officially ending this avenue for Los Merengues.

    Royston Drenthe (Feyenoord)

The chase for the 20-year-old has proven that there are limits on Madrid's spending as they consider that €17m is too much for a player that has yet to prove his worth in one of Europe's top leagues. While Kaká could cost €90m, if the most outlandish reports are to be believed, then Calderón's ambition to sign Drenthe appears to be slightly more realistic.

Schuster has again had a hand in the move for the star of the recent Under-20 European Championships after he said that he would like Drenthe to be part of his squad for next season. Feyenoord recognise that they will be forced to sell their starlet one day, but are not prepared to be bullied into allowing Madrid to take him for less than their evaluation.

FC Barcelona and Chelsea are also interested and all the rumours have turned the player's head, but he is evidently being well advised because rather than follow so many other players of promise and demand a transfer, he appear to be willing to continue learning at the club that nurtured him.

    Lucho González (Porto)

After fending off interest from Atlético de Madrid and Valencia, the Portuguese giants must now attempt to keep their Argentinian star for a third time after Madrid have now been linked with a move. Cynical as it may seem Lucho's future could be solely dependent on how much money is put on the table with Media Sports Investment (MSI), the group at the centre of the Carlos Tevez controversy, owning 50 per cent of hs rights.

Of course, every club holds out for as much as they can for players, but with Porto only receiving half of any income, they will want to ensure that it is enough for them to be able to go out and buy a suitable replacement. Lucho does have a €25m buy-out clause, but both Atlético and Valencia did not believe that he was worth that figure and now it will be down to Madrid to persuade Porto to lower the figure that they are willing accept.

Given los Merengues' success in their other ventures it would appear that unless they are willing to trigger the clause then they could be, once again, left empty handed.

    Samir Nasri (Marseille)

Quite whether the Spanish media are struggling themselves to find suitable targets or whether Madrid are leaking bits of information out to test the waters remains unknown, but Nasri did say just three months ago that he was definitely staying in France for at least another season. The reports of the Spanish club's interest in the 20-year-old were surprisingly brief back in May because of the player's strong statement over the speculation.

Having risen through the ranks at Marseille, Nasri is excited by the prospect of playing in the Champions League for his hometown club and claimed that, while flattered by the interest being shown in him, he believes that it would be "madness" to leave.

If Madrid have decided to take another crack at Nasri then it could be considered to smack of desperation, but that is not a criticism of the player but of the club's policy. Nasri is a rising star and is set for a great future, but having been told no in no uncertain terms, Madrid should leave well alone for at least 12 months.

Real Madrid Stun Lokomotiv With Sensational Comeback

    Lokomotiv Moscow 2 - 5 Real Madrid

Bernd Schuster's boys looks dead and buried as they trailed Lokomotiv Moscow 2-0 at half time, but in a manner reminiscent of last season's La Liga triumph, they hit back with five second half goals to blitz their opponents.

Real Madrid produced a strong second-half comeback to come from two goals down at the break to chalk up a convincing scoreline against their Russian hosts in the Russian Railways Cup.

Guti scored twice while Gonzalo Higuaín, Javier Saviola and Javier Balboa all scored to lift confidence in los Merengues' camp and set up a final against PSV, after the Dutch outfit beat AC Milan on penalties.

Bernd Schuster's did not make the ideal start as they looked nervous and were made to pay for that early on when Lokomotiv took the lead after just three minutes when Marco Ivanovic headed home from a corner.

The central defensive partnership of Pepe and Christoph Metzelder looked uncertain, but the Russians netted a second following a mistake from one of Madrid's most reliable players in the 21st minute.

Iker Casillas looked to control a high ball with his knee, but after hitting the keeper it bounced away and Dramane Traoré stole in to tuck the ball into an empty net.

At the start of the second period, Schuster made a number of changes and they had an immediate affect on his new look side.

Guti forced the first goal in the 52nd minute and 60 seconds later the visitors were level when Higuaín beat Sergei Rhyzykov.

Despite the flurry of goals, clear chances were at a premium and it was not until Madrid's next meaningful attack that they forced Lokomotiv into another msitake.

Saviola attacked a low cross and was brought down in front of goal by Emir Spahic and won his team a penatlty, before standing up to tuck home his first goal for Madrid since joining the club FC Barcelona.

Lokotmoiv appeared to be ready to stetle for a draw as they maintained their defensive stance until the closing moments of the encounter when a sudden push forward saw them punished at the other end.

With all the home side's players pushed up for a corner, Guti was quick to exploit the space and he raced away on a counter-attack before dummying the keeper and defender and steering the ball inside the near post for Madrid's fourth.

Moments later, and with injury time looming, the visitors netted a fifth when Saviola exchanged passes and after the keeper had saved at the feet of the Argentinian, Blaboa raced in to score from the rebound.

    Re: NEWSROOM

Why is Real so reluctant about spending excessive money for a player? I mean Real haves the amount of money to do so. They should learn from Bayern how to sign good proven players; Toni, Klose and Ribery where very good signins and have started proving it(first game: one goal from Toni and two from Klose, plus a good performance from Ribery). On the other hand Real has signed Saviola, Metzelder... quality players, but they need to replace R.Carlos and D.Beckham who are world class players. New signing R.Drenthe is to young for people to say he's going to replace R.Carlos, for all we know he could end up underachieving. So Real should really start signing some proven world class players and stop gambling with young promises...
