    MU transfers??
As for as I've seen, Manitche's been doing reasonably well for a.madrid in these days. Like Franck told, he's a pretty decent long-range strikes to his credits which makes him a good possession for the club. He didn't do much for us, apart from the red-card he got against bolton, but he's one of my favourite players in the current portugal squad.

    MU transfers??

You wont see me going off topic much, but since were on the case of Maniche.

Yeah well 4 conditions added up to explain maniche's stay in chelsea...

1st - The russian season was over...

2nd - Maniche said that he wanted out of there for the sake of his family.

3rd - Dynamo moskva werent losing out with loaning him out in the off season.

4th - of course the porto link between jose and maniche.

    =

One loan spell at Chelsea. But as we all know, chelsea has CM's falling out of their pockets, so he did fuck all there. Dont think he played enough games to get a medal either.

Everyone knows who Bale is probably now. Franckly, I don't see him as a LB with us. We have depth there, and Evra/Heinze have been doing very well. He has great attacking instincts and I believe he will be Ryan Giggs replacement and not our LB.

Its not so easy to pick out replacments for some players, Foster for Van der Sar and Bardsly for Gary obviously aren't.  But replacing Scholes and Giggs is a tough job.  I don't see Hargreaves as his natural replacment, he much more deffensive, and Carrick isn't that type of player either, but I could see Rossi dropping into his position he reminds me of Scholes but with more pace.

Giggs is a tough one... there arn't to many players around who could replace him.  Bale is on alot of peoples minds but i'm not so sure.  Nani from Sporting as well, but he seems to have been off form this season.

I would love to see us bring in some one like Xavi or Pablo Aimar.  Both very creative and great on the ball.  There size might be a mark agasint them but they are both capable of a pyhsical game.

I would rather see us bring in Villa than Torres, but either would be fine lol  As far as strikers go, Rooney Saha, Rossi we don't really need a big hitter unless Saha left.  With Rossi looking likly to be a top star we need to get him games and a think we can bring in some one more consitant than Saha.  It pains me to say that as he one of my fave players.

And its been picked up by Ryan Giggs,
Yorke has made a diagnal run,
    Theirs support in the centre,
    but hes past Keown...
    past Dixon...
AND HAS SCORED A SENSATIONAL GOAL!!!

Really like your post. Id like to get Yakubu in for Saha, but i dont see it happening. Like you said the return of Rossi should probably stunt our "striker Shoping". I think he's pretty much a striker in the Villa mold actually. Id still love the Yak tho'. I think we need that Dwight Yorke type of player who can finish/get on the edge of crosses.

As for Bardsley, its looking more and more possible that Simpson might take his place. I still rate bardsley tho', but he said the longetivity of Nev mightve forced him out of the club with Brown and Pique also able RB's... Sad but true.

About the midfield... who knows??? People want replacement for our class of 92 midfield, but that midfield was unique... Everyone so good in there specific roles. We dont even play the same way nowadays... Were almost a 4-2-4... So i think Hargreaves and CArrick in the middle would be decent with another Forward/winger creating havoc. Preferably Nani or Ribery. If we go back to straightforward 4-4-2 Bale is a promising player, but we'd need an AM... Rossi? Rooney? or someone else?? i dont know.

Man Utd, Chelsea target Deco demands Barca move
    tribalfooball.com - February 26, 2007

Manchester United and Chelsea are on red alert after Deco informed Barcelona he wants to leave in the summer.

The Daily Mail says the midfield schemer, 29, is eager to find a fresh challenge after winning two league titles and the Champions League with the Catalans and explained his intentions to the Barcelona hierarchy last week.

Deco has often voiced his desire to play in England but would only welcome interest from a select band of clubs, while wife, Jaciera, is known to enjoy the celebrity spotlight. United and Chelsea would, however, face competition from Bayern Munich.

Torres agents make fresh Man Utd contact
    tribalfooball.com - February 26, 2007

Manchester United remain keen on Atletico Madrid captain Fernando Torres.

The Daily Mail says United are continuing to monitor Atletico's Spain international striker.

Representatives for the 22-year-old have been in touch with United and are again discussing a deal worth £20m. However, United would want to offset the cost by offloading players in return.

could deco replace scholes?? and can someone describe bale's qualities i live in india and theres no channel that shows championship football matches only a few replays one a week..

looks like our future def is sorted out attack-rooney and hopefully torres now

midfield- carrick, hargreaves, ronaldo, deco? hargreaves and carrick can stay back to help with def since our wingbacks will go fwd and well still have 4 good defs so our formation will be mroe of a 4-2-4

                                      foster
                       ferdinand         vidic
    brown                                                  evra
                    carrick                 hargreaves

            ronaldo                      deco

                      torres               rooney

deco will play a more central role and evra will be up front on the left which is why my formation isnt symmetrical..tis how i actuall think theyll shape up after the game gets under way while carrick n hargreaves can make up for evra by defendin..heres a diff formation check it out its got evra bein a deeper positioned left winger he certainly has the credentials to do so and theyre 3 back wit carrick and hargeraes holdin thwe midfield and reinforcin the defence itll give deco mreo room to strut his stuff and ronaldo will stay on his favoured right flank and the only players utd will hafta buy will be torres deco n hargreaves just 3 for a team to stay like this for the next 4 yrs(minimum)

                                       foster
                 ferdinand         vidic         heinze

You have mentioned three guys who are yet to join the Man Utd brigade. OH is a possibility, Torres is a long shot and Deco is a dream.

Moreover, I ain't sure about foster, though he is highly rated.

Bringing in Deco is dependant on the fee.  He is 29, no spring chicken any more.  Obviously his game doesn't rely on pace, but he still has a limited shelf life.  With Chelsea no doubt being intrested the price will be inflated, we could probibly match the fee they would pay but we can't aford to through away large amounts of money.  If a sensible fee was aranged it would make perfect sence, it would seem wiser to spend a large some of money on a younger play with a future.  Although Deco is pure class his age counts agaisnt him.

As for Torres, not the most prolific striker around, but that may be contributed to the fact that Athletico Madrid are not the best team (No Disrespect). He may get more opertunitys for Man Unted much like he did at the World Cup for Spain.

Bale is very quick, and attack minded.  Hes at left back for Southapton and does posses a very good cross.  Most people see him stepping up to left wing, also hes Welsh like Giggs lol

And its been picked up by Ryan Giggs,
Yorke has made a diagnal run,
    Theirs support in the centre,

    MU transfers??

im not a believer in bringing in big names to fill out our roster. It hasnt worked in the past on many occasions. Im not talking about big "up and comers" like rio, rooney, andy cole, etc... But players who have already made their niche elsewhere. These types of players more often than not fail to settle into another system. Dont get me wrong i LOOOVE deco, and he's exactly what would fit our system in some way, but im not sold on the idea just yet.

And please... tribalfootball?? thats like taking financial advice from a homeless junkie... lol Stick out tongue [:P]

Villain; your credibility is at an alltime low with that comment and many others I might add.  Do you watch football?  Ben is one of the most highly rated keepers in the EPL right now and probably anywhere else.  You need to watch the player before commenting.

I'd waited long enough. I fucking hit him hard. The ball was there (I think). Take that, you ***. And don't ever stand over me again sneering about fake injuries.”

    MU transfers??
It appears now that Real madrid are willing to let Robinho leave for £12 mil (18 mil euros).  Does any one think this would be a worth while purchase?

Personaly I am not sure, I thought he had a good world cup last year one of Brazils bright sparks along with Ze Roberto.  He does seem to have an atitude problem, and doubt wether he would adapt to the EPL but Ronaldo did... so who knows, could Fergie help hi reach  his promise.  This also seems a cut down price and with inflated prices all around these days if can't be sniffed at.

oh yeah i 4got decos age hes just 3 years younge than scholes..what abt barton(age 24)? bentley just signed a new blackburn contract Sad [:(] how abt pederson replacing giggs or is everyone over here stickin with bale? u never know how good hell be in the epl where the game is at a higher level..

and if torres had to choose between utd chelsea or arsenal..utd would be his last pick simply as were situated in manchester while the other 2 are london clubs big players always like to play in the biggset cities in the world such as london, milan, madrid, barcelona..why do u think ronaldinho dint come to utd from psg??  thats why the only successful players at utd are either brought in young (ronaldo) or if utd buy from another english club (vds, ferdinand, carrick, saha, rooney) and ofcourse another case is when the players are relatively unknown (vidic, evra)
robinho COULD play nehind the attackers but again he'd prefer to join chelsea or arenal if he comes to the epl..altho i htink milan would be his 1st choice if he leaves real..i dont see why milan are after ronaldinho they should chase robinho and then theyll have a good enough attack ronaldinho combines well with barca players but he might hamper milans chemistry..no wait this is a mu transfers forum so id better stop talkin abt milan Stick out tongue [:P] pique is another amazing youngster who should be our next CB i mean hes been compared to HIERRO!! just loan him out every season till we need him in a few years..same with foster and fletcher..personally i dont like fletcher the only match hes impresed me in was utd-liverpool the rest of the time..and what do u think abt shorey(LB, age 26) and sidwell(CM, age 24) from reading?theyre tried n tested in the epl and they play well
