    Re: A.S. Roma

also i would like to see ricardo faty

curci, panucci, koffour, chivu, mexes, mancini, de rossi, diarra, perotta, totti, (mido, nonda, montella)

it looks like we have a great squad this year you no it when we may have to sit taddei, cufre, aquilani, and either mido, nonda or montella.

i think we should loan okaka, faty, rosi, cerci and freddi to other teams so they can get some experience because with this team it doesnt look like they will get much playing time

    Re: A.S. Roma

i thought that iaguinta to roma was a done deal, they mentioned it a couple times in the world cup...

I dont like the idea iaquinta to roma, they have many good strikers for example mido is a better player than iaquinta is, especially if he plays in the italian league as good as he played in the english. Also id rather them develop some of their young players like okaka and cerci. we have the best youth system in the world but we dont give our young players as much of a chance. If  your not going to use them loan them out..

Loan out okaka because he may get some playing time with roma but he would get much more with a team like ascoli or empoli, also loan out cerci because he isnt going to get any playing time with the senior squad. Also Faty is supposed to be very talented i watched him play in the toulouse tournament where Jr. France won it all and he looked very good , like the centerpeice of the team.

Does anyone know if we get golloppa this year, because he is a very talented player

MIDO SET FOR SHOCK SPURS RETURN

Tottenham boss Martin Jol is reportedly preparing a surprise move to bring Roma striker Mido back to White Hart Lane.

Jol is looking to sign a fourth striker to supplement his attacking options, having missed out on Chelsea frontman Carlton Cole, and could now return to Serie A to land the Egyptian on loan again.

Mido enjoyed a fairly successful 18-month stint in London, hitting 13 goals in 38 Premiership appearances, before returning to Italy at the end of last season.

Jol is a big fan of the former Ajax and Marseille frontman but has been concerned by his apparent lack of discipline, although talks could lead to the deal being completed sometime next week.

Blackburn had been trying to lure the 23-year-old to Ewood Park before landing South African Benni McCarthy.

    Re: A.S. Roma
He is a very good very underated player, h used to have a bad attitude which is why teams didnt want him but he has reformed himself now and plays well. If only cassano could do the same eh?

    lyon diarra? ...

Real Madrid Five Million Away From Diarra Real Madrid have so far been willing to go as high as 25 million Euros for Diarra, but Lyon are keen to hold on to him, and are refusing to budge from their 30 million valuation.

However, Real are ready to go on the offensive, as Capello has clearly indicated that Diarra's signing should be prioritized over that of Ribery or Kaka.

Pedja Mijatovic and Franco Baldini both left for Lyon today, in order to speed up negotiations with the club. They will also meet the player's agent, although personal terms seem to have already been agreed.

The three parties involved are scheduled to meet late this evening, in a bid to conclude the deal.

Lyon continue to maintain that the player is not for sale, officially, but are becoming increasingly aware that the best they can hope for now is to make good money from the deal, especially after recent comments made by the player.

An offer in the region of 30 million is what Lyon are reportedly looking for. Real are unwilling to go higher than 25, but might be willing to include one of the many players discarded by Capello into the deal.

It is suspected that an agreement is very close, and an announcement is expected as early as tomorrow morning.

    Re: A.S. Roma
Roma are considering a move for Juventus midfielder Mauro Camoranesi after negotiations for Chievo’s Franco Semioli stalled.

The World Cup winner has made no secret of his intention to leave the Bianconeri after their demotion to Serie B and Juventus may be forced into a sale.

However, the Turin giants expect something close to £7m for the Argentine-born Azzurri international after already snubbing a £4.2m offer from Lyon.

Nevertheless, Juve have been paired with Roma defender Samuel Kuffour and the Old Lady may include Camoranesi in any proposed deal.

The capital outfit plan on netting at least £1.4m for the Ghanaian international, who is currently contracted until 2008, and may agree to his transfer in part exchange for the winger.

Camoranesi would probably accept the move given that Roma will be playing in the Champions League this season and are considered as Scudetto contenders.

Camoranesi joined Juve in 2002, making 92 appearances for the Old Lady, and has also attracted interest from Villarreal, Bayern Munich, Valencia and Inter.

The capital giants are also being associated with Udinese attacker Antonio Di Natale on Wednesday afternoon.

The former Empoli attacker is a favourite of Roma boss Luciano Spalletti after their time together in Udine.
