Who do you think will finsh in 1st and 2nd place?

By the way Valencia is looking to sign Van Der Vaart, and Joaquin started playing better towards the end of last season, so maybe Valencia will surprise this season.

    1. Real ??? Don't think so, I think Barcelona will win back the la liga. I think real madrid will finish 2-4 but not first. Real madrid did just buy schnieder and drenthe, these players could give them the edge in winning the la liga but i dont think they have recruited as well as barca.

I don't think Real will sign Van Der Vaart because they have already signed Sneijder, and Van Der Vaart really wants to go to Valencia. Anyway my guess is:

    1. Barcelona

    2. Valencia

    3. Real

    4. Villarreal (I think they have a better team than Atletico, on the other hand if Atl. sign Riquelme it could be a different story.)

Barcelona is far ahead of Real, I mean Ronaldinho, Messi, Eto'o, Thuram, Milito, Puyol, Zambrotta, Xavi, Henry... they are all world class players. On the other hand Real Madrid haves a squad full of young prospects: S.Ramos(in my opinion he's world class), Robinho, Higuain, Gago, Drenthe, Torres... they don't have the experience to win La Liga, and most of them have not been truly tested on the big stage, so they might end up dissapointing.

Barca haves a more reliable team, and I think they will repeat 2006' s championships.

Not that I know of, but Valencia should finish their signings with Van Der Vaart, because that's what they're lacking; a good playmaker. Anyway I've read Valencia have performed very well in their pre-season games, so it's looking good for "Los Che", I think they will give Barca a run for their money.

    Re: VALENCIA C.D.F OFFICIAL THREAD

Hey everyone, Valencia fan from Ireland here. I was wondering if anyone could help me re: Valencia v Barcelona - 16th December.

Right me and a few mates are after finding return flights for €35 inc taxes for the day before the Valencia/Barca game in the Mestalla in December. We're all booked and everything (why not at that price!) so I was wondering if anyone has any experience in trying to get tickets for a big game at the Mestalla? Any idea when these tickets would be out and how best to go about getting them? My girlfriend speaks fluent Spanish so might try explore that avenue...

Thanks in advance for any help!

I also reckon he'll stay at Valencia, but I must say David Villa is not the same player he was two seasons ago.. He's holding the ball to much, and want's to take on two or three defenders all the time.. I hope he doesn't goes to Chelsea in the future, as Chelsea plays ''ugly'' football, and world class players usually underperforme there, like; Sheva and Ballack.. don't know why, but the best performers for Chelsea are the ones who started with Chelsea in the first place; Drogba, Lampard, Terry, etc.. D. Villa should stay with Valencia..

Anyways, Valencia is not playing well at the moment.. and I'm asking myself; why is that? Valencia haves great players; Joaquin, Morientes, D.Villa, Baraja, etc.. They should perform well.. But I've noticed they lack central (playmakers) players.. They had Gaizka Mendieta some years ago, then they had Pablito Aimar, and now they don't have good players for that position.. Aimar played well for Valencia, that's when he could actually play, as most of the time he was out injured.. So I think Valencia should sign; Van Der Vaart, Diego (Werder Bremen), or Riquelme.. These players could put David Villa's pace/speed to good use..

That's true, but Drogba was part of Chelsea before; Sheva, and Ballack. The two world class players that were expected to make Chelsea a great team.. They have underperformed for Chelsea, and Drogba's been a player of Chelsea for some time now.. Anyways, I didn't literally mean Drogba has been in Chelsea since Lampard and Terry.. I meant Drogba has been in Chelsea ever since Chelsea started being considered as a big-club..
