I bielieve Messi's goal was better..

as a soccer addict i dont like Maradona and i think he is an overated player...

he is so selfish while playing.....

especially with his goal...

a goal that will never go out of my mind is Van persie's goal i dont know on which team...he flied and he scored a fantastic goal just on the penalty zone line

How can you say Maradona is overrated, he's the best player of all time allong with J.Cruijff... Maradona made not-so-good teams like Napoli good, and with out him Argentina failed to impress. But I also think Messi's goal was better, although not as beautifull, for a couple of reasons. Mainly because England as always allowed excessive space, and if you allow space to a player with Maradona's skills... well you know what happened.

How come no one knows about Baggio's goal against Maradona's Napoli; he dribbled everyone all the way from defence, and finshed by dribbling through the keeper and then scoring. I think this goal is arguably harder than both Messi's or Maradona's goal, because it whas scored on the Italian Serie A, a league known as the most defensive... Maybe this goal can be found on youtube.
