    Re: ARSENAL F.C. OFFICIAL THREAD

Uh oh, watch out....I didn't expect it to come against middlesborough, but i expected it to come...let's follow closely what i meant.  Loss to sevilla, draw in mid-week, loss to middlesborough and United coming up...it's not the best time for SAF to meet Arsene Wenger...

I'm sure Arsenal will catch themselves in about 3 games cause as i said earlier, they're out of the CL in the next round due to Wenger's carelessness...Sevilla knew the importance and did the job of not coming 2nd ~ hopefully they don't take qualification for granted too.  The bright side is that maybe Arsenal gets to play Inter Milan in the next round because they're the most vulnerable side from the winners in Europe.

Results like these caused me not to be a supporter of Arsenal many years ago when they allowed Man United to come from nowhere and win the league...they weren't even out of form, that' was the problem, they just lost games under pressure and that is the result of playing primarily youngsters as your critical players.  Sure Cesc and Hleb are out, but we know that not many players{star} play the entire season.  We know that players like C. Ronaldo, Drogba, Cesc, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Gerrard, Torres, Zlatan, Messi and so on will spend some time out throughout a season even if it is only 1,2, or 3 games.  It won't be easy for Arsenal to catch any of the "big four" when they fall behind..that's a warning!  No trophies in 3, 4 or more seasons is a failure for big clubs, trust me i was tortured at Barca for almost 6 yrs.  Qualification for the CL, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the league will not be sufficient, league cups are sort of consolation and new signings hide the truth of the matter...

the funny thing is that not only did arsenal lose, but they were dominated from start to end by boro. I agree boro has some fight in them, but their defense are rubbish. Shock performance by arsenal. And Eboue was disgusting with his antics, truly.

Chelsea lost to them 3-0 at stamford bridge in 05/06. So i wouldnt say that exactly. Its the total outclassing that was shocking. Defeats can happen, but not in this manner.

And your point is?  There's no excuse....Middlesborough almost play the worst football in the EPL, they're mediocre at best.  A 1-0 result, fine, but not 3-0

    good win...2-horse race?

Liverpool once again, is on the outer fringes of the title race as expected, even with Fernando Torres who people are getting carried away with

You know...Ruud is one of thos guys who is on the way to getting near to Cruyf,Van basten and denis...

Van persie is on his way to overcome Cruyf,Van basten, and Berkamp

He needs time and no injuries

yup Barca should've used that 16 million on Ruud before he got to Madrid...oh well, they bought a high risk potential flop, no names, no blame , no lock up

    Re: ARSENAL F.C. OFFICIAL THREAD

Definitely not, Ruud has not failed to score goals so far with PSV, United and now MAdrid....

I'm referring to Henry who was known to have a serious injury and potentially could become another Jonathan Woodgate purchase.  He's good if he's fit, but he's clearly not the same player he was when Arsenal got to the finals of the CL

o, thierry. i was really disappointed to see him leave arsenal. he fit there like a glove. now at barca...its not his football. he enjoys' arsene's style. bad move 4 him when he did decide. good move for arsene (more dough than he expected)
