    Huge test: Inter-PSV

oh man, take a look at Inter`s disqualified and injuries. that`s such a long long list. Zlatan, Burdisso ad samuel disqualified while Olivier Dacourt, Luis Figo, Luis Jimenez, Dejan Stankovic, Francesco Toldo and Patrick Vieira, and Adriano, Enrico Alfonso, Cesar, Pelè are injured and still Chivu, Maxwell, Zanetti and Cambiasso could play a half each. but that`s a happy tone return of Marco the smasher and Crespo. Let`s see what will they bring from Holland. Forza Nerazzuri!!!!

yeah right, Inter are resting players..they already won the group and won't be bothered.  If this was earlier, all or most of that squad would've played

we are 7 points clear and u'd have to say we can add anotha scudetto. (i know, i'm sounding arrogant) if we dont then the only reason is that we are concentrating on the champs league. FORZA INTER!!!

WEll unlike the el classico, i find that the Milan derby proves very little.  For instance, the winner or team who gets teh advantage of the el classico usually gains form and wins la liga as seen when Ronaldinho destroyed Madrid in the Bernabeu.   However, the same effect doesn't take place with the Milan derby.  If Inter draw with Milan, the scudetto will resume as normal for the rest of the scudetto.  If  Milan do indeed win, what will change in the scudetto other than Juventus cutting the lead, but i don't think it should affect their form, but strange things happen i suppose.  If Inter Milan wins, it's probably curtains to the scudetto unless Juventus, Roma, Milan etc manage to take points off Inter in the second half when Inter get tired from competing in the CL and play less in form players in the league

Re: F.C. INTERNAZIONALE MILANO OFFICIAL THREAD

perhaps you're right, but i don't think Ac Milan are interested one way or the next....at least it doesn't look like they want to really win a scudetto from the way they approach europe and the league.

but perhaps you're right and by ac milan winning it might put some doubt into the mindset of inter to cause a dip in form.

By the way, I see Moratti is suggesting that Inter should've won more scudettos and to be brutally honest - i agree!  That also applies to teams  in la liga with Madrid where in Serie A's case, Juventus used to visibly profit from "questionable aka TERRIBLE" decisions when for example Del Piero used to get penalties easier than usual.  Maybe, this is not the forum for this, but i think it is quite related, bias to our teams aside.  Teams like Manchester United, Madrid and Juventus in particular used to get very soft penalty calls through their golden boys - Raul and Del Piero.  I say that because it always seemed that the rest of the team didn't recieve the same treatment...This treatment could be seen when big clubs get cards taken back and in particular one case where Real Madrid was able to replay almost 15 mins of a game which reached injury time before being stopped at Madrid, something that earned other teams deducted points, penalties and playing in front empty stadiums.  So, it comes as absolutely no surprise that Inter Milan's Moratti would raise his arms at these issues except it happens to far smaller teams both in the league and in Europe.

This may hurt Entusiasta a bit too if Moratti gets his way and Ronaldo is attributed with a scudetto...Food for thought though!  It must be noted that this is not due to me being a fan of Inter Milan, but as a fan who notice certain irregularities in European football.

I guess Adriano didn't have a choice but to return to Brazil.  I'm certain he would've jumped at Zico's offer across to Fenerbache.  Oh well, another career up in smoke by Inter Milan.

    Refocus!

Liverpool have a real chance...Inter Milan has to prove themselves here otherwise, nobody will care how many Scudettos they win.

    (SOURCE = GOAL.COM)

Inter “Will Sign A Versatile Midfielder”.

Barcelona’s Dos Santos Linked  Inter Coach Roberto Mancini has confirmed that the club will sign a versatile midfielder with a great future ahead of him, and Barcelona's Mexican prodigy Giovani dos Santos has been linked.

The Nerazzurri are currently in the midst of an injury crisis with Olivier Dacourt, Dejan Stankovic, Patrick Vieira and Luis Figo all unavailable for varying lengths of time. “We will sign a versatile midfielder who can have a great future at Inter, both for this and next season,” Mancio told Il Giornale.

The Nerazzurri have been associated with a whole host of names around Europe, with Manchester City’s Elano believed to be top of the club’s shortlist due to his versatility.

Another name that has entered the fray is Barcelona prodigy Giovani dos Santos. The 18-year-old is widely regarded as one of the world’s best young prospects; however he is currently involved in a contract dispute with his club.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter could be prepared to pay dos Santos’ €30m release clause to bring him to San Siro.

Dos Santos is the son of retired Brazilian football player Zizinho, and has a younger brother, Jonathan, in Barcelona B team, who is also considered as a huge prospect for the future.

Re: F.C. INTERNAZIONALE MILANO OFFICIAL THREAD

I think Inter should cancel Dacourt's contract. He is 34 now and his season is over and next year he's gonna be 35, he can move to Milan if he wanted but he is too old for us. Stankovic we can't just let him go, he is a good player and always gives his best. Viera =out please. Figo is gonna retire this summer. So now we need 2 defense midfielders and one winger. Quaresma for Figo, Menez (maybe?) and an Italian defense midfielder for Viera and Dacourt. Inter should really sign Italian player or we will be in trouble if the Fifa applied their rules.
